I would like to start with a heartfelt thank you to all of those who turned out yesterday afternoon for the working party and did such sterling work, including some junior members and parents.  It has made a tremendous difference and sets the facilities up nicely for the summer season. I hope that everyone who turns out to shoot this year or who uses the facilities, remembers to play their part in keeping it clean and tidy.

I know not everyone would have been available yesterday, and to everyone who could have helped I ask you to remember that, perhaps what we take for granted sometimes, is only  sustainable with the help of volunteers.

 I would also like to thank everyone who turned up for the first club shoot of the outdoor season. It was pleasing to see so many on the field enjoying what turned out to a lovely day. As I was reminded when I totted up my scores yesterday, it’s not about winning it’s about taking part!

As you will hopefully have seen there are going to be a number of opportunities for us all to come together for some fun shoots and social events this year, in addition to the tournaments and club shoots that are programmed. If you haven’t been for a while and would like to dust off your bow, or just come along and see what’s happening, I would encourage you to do so.
