This month we hosted the County Indoor Championships at the Joseph Whitaker Leisure Centre,Rainworth. 120 archers took part at this popular event, organised by our club secretary,Susan Stankovic. Our successful members were Christina Gimbel[3rd recurve], Lee Waterfield[3rd compound], Michael Webster [2nd longbow], Richard Gentle [3rd longbow], Steve Gamble [3rd barebow] and Ashley Buckland [4th compound]. Our recurve team came 2nd.
  The February Frostbite was shot on a bitterly cold Sunday morning, but in spite of the conditions there were some good scores. Winners were Craig Fozard and Christina Gimbel [recurve], Lee Waterfield and Susan Stankovic [compound], Les Leslie [longbow] and Alex Hawley [barebow]. We were pleased to welcome new members Stuart Lynes and Geoff Mc Guigan to their first frostbite,
 After the Frostbite, we all retired to The Admiral Rodney for our AGM, to hear the reports for 2015 and to elect officers for the coming year.
 Congratulations to David Salmon who was presented with the Southwell Lions’ Bob Eastty Charity Shield for being the best fund raiser of the year.Lions’ President John Horsfall and colleagues Roger Eastty and Paul Wilkinson made the presentation at our Friday club-night.
